The Author

My name is Paul Koebrugge from the Netherlands and I have always been a petrolhead.

I have combined my profession, graphic designer, with my hobby or rather my obsession for classic automobiles.

15 years ago, I have published my first book on the Alfa Romeo 'Alfa 75': 'Alfa 75 & Milano: driven to be different'. It turned out to be a comprehensive book on this sporty Italian saloon and was very well received. The book was sold out many years ago.

After going astray (with a Porsche 964) for 7 years, I am on the right Italian road again (with a 1990 Alfa 75 3.0 V6 QV). Now, with all new gathered material and information, I found the urge to write a second edition on my favourite Alfa Romeo: the Alfa 75. Many new and never-before-published photos and information found a way into this new edition.

I have enjoyed very much the enthusiastic input and support of the aerodynamic engineer of Alfa Corse, Giorgio Camaschella, who worked there during the years of the Alfa 75's racing career. Signore Camaschella provided a unique insight in the racing department of Alfa Romeo and the development of the Alfa 75 Evoluzione and the Group A touring cars.

I have tried to create the most dedicated book on this unique sporty saloon car from the house of Alfa Romeo. I hope you all will enjoy reading it as much as I have enjoyed writing it!
